Stockholm, June 18, 2024 – ProptechOS, a software company specializing in building data and management, has developed an Energy Performance platform for German Energy Agency (Deutsche Energie-Agentur, dena) in collaboration with ClimaCheck, world leader in energy optimisation in air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump systems. This initiative aims to enhance energy efficiency in HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) systems for German property owners.
The final workshop and advisory board meeting for the project was held in June and showcased the promising results so far. The platform has demonstrated over 17% energy savings through low to non-investment optimization measures. Additionally, operational improvements have significantly reduced compressor start/stop cycles, thereby minimizing wear, reducing failures, and decreasing downtime.
The Energy Performance Indicator (EnPi) Benchmarking platform has been rolled out to 10 German property owners. The platform builds on ProptechOS’s established methods for data management and the ClimaCheck method for normalizing energy signatures, enabling benchmarking of system efficiencies across various sizes and climate conditions.
This unbiased platform provides essential performance data for benchmarking and comparing system efficiencies, which is crucial for meeting EU Taxonomy and ESG reporting standards.
ProptechOS, awarded the dena project in collaboration with ClimaCheck and Kühlanalyse, has ensured that the platform meets the highest IT security standards as required by the German Energy Agency.
